What we collect
We collect only what we need to coordinate a housing placement: your name, contact details (phone and/or email), and your housing preferences — such as location, budget or funding, desired housing type, and timing. If you create an account to browse the directory, we also store your email and a securely hashed password.
What we do NOT collect
By design, we do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or protected health information (medical, clinical, diagnostic, or treatment details). Please do not include health or other sensitive information in free-text fields. Keeping this data out of our system is a deliberate choice that protects you.
How we use it
We use your information to verify genuine housing seekers, match you with suitable Independent Living Facilities, and coordinate your placement. Referral sources are kept private and are never shared with facilities. We do not sell your personal information.
Account verification
Directory accounts are reviewed and approved by our team before access is granted. This keeps the directory secure and reserved for genuine housing seekers.
